III. The Little Souvenir That Carries the Journey Home

After enjoying the tea, I visited the adjacent Pierre Hermé boutique. I discovered two specialty dressings. Drawn by a scent that seemed to bottle the esprit of Kyoto and Paris, I purchased them as a "souvenir for myself" to take back to the States.

Back home, every time I drizzle the dressing onto a salad, the stillness of Kyoto and the flair of Hermé softly return. Even after the journey ends, the indulgence of that residual feeling continues gently in the heart.
